Dayo Owotomo, ESQ.


Dayo obtained his first degree in Psychology from the University of Lagos in 1983 and was readmitted into the institution in 1983 to study law. He obtained his degree in Law from the University of Lagos in 1987 and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where he graduated and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988. Dayo, as a young lawyer was in a team of lawyers that worked on the legal framework and consequent investments of NICON-NUGA Hilton Group in Nigeria.

He later relocated to the United States where he has been responsible for the Firm’s activities. He was called to the New York State Bar in 1993.  


As the Firm’s Managing Partner of the New York Office, Dayo heads the operations of the Firm’s New York Office with some presence in the Lagos Office. Possesses good mediation and arbitral skills and has brokered many timely and amicable settlements of disputes involving the Firm’s clients.

Dayo is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Bar of the State of New York, USA.
